About the Client
Our client is a digital agency delivering strategy, mobile apps, AI, and enterprise web solutions for clients like Google, the New York Times, Apple, and the White House. They're a project-based business with a global team, and they're growing their offshore finance function to keep pace with that work. This role exists to keep billing accurate and moving during a high-volume period — supporting the AR lead and contributing to better processes as the team scales.

The Role
This role supports an AR team through a broader billing improvement initiative. You'll work closely with the AR lead to own the billing and invoicing cycle across a diverse client base — keeping cash flow moving while the team scales. It's a hands-on, execution-focused role with real ownership from day one.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end billing and invoicing across fixed-fee, time-based, and milestone-based projects

• Prioritise billing for key clients to support cash flow and revenue timelines

• Partner with the AR lead during high-volume billing cycles, particularly in the first half of each month

• Ensure accuracy across varying billing terms, client-specific requirements, PO-based and portal invoicing

• Coordinate with project managers and sales teams on billing status, timing, and queries

• Support process improvement efforts, including testing and refining billing workflows in NetSuite

What We're Looking For

• Solid AR and billing experience, ideally across project-based or multi-term billing (fixed fee, milestones, time & materials)

• Hands-on NetSuite experience — you can navigate it confidently without hand-holding

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise under pressure, especially on high-value or time-sensitive invoices

• Someone who takes ownership of their work, flags issues early, and keeps pace once they're up to speed

• Clear communicator — comfortable working across finance, sales, and project teams

Nice to Have

• Exposure to billing automation or workflow improvement initiatives

• Experience with Teamwork or similar project tracking/billing tools

• Background in a digital services or project-based business environment
