About the Role
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, energetic professional with excellent communication skills and a pleasant, outgoing personality. They should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple clients and projects throughout the day. A strong team player who collaborates well with others is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Record vendor invoices and maintain accounts payable.
Process vendor payments and prepare accounts payable reports for clients.
Prepare client invoices based on contract milestones.
Maintain accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding collections.
Prepare accounts receivable reports for clients.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and payroll accounts.
Process payroll and prepare payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual payroll tax reports.
Prepare sales tax reports.
Review and record general ledger transactions.
Prepare monthly compiled financial statements.
Provide ongoing QuickBooks consulting and support to clients.
Identify, correct, and report accounting issues.
Enter and maintain job costing, estimates, sales orders, and class reporting within QuickBooks.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
Experience with other accounting software is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
