Complete SMSF accounting work using Class.
Prepare and maintain Cloud Offis workpapers.
Process and review SMSF financial information for completeness and accuracy.

Maintain accounting records in line with relevant Australian accounting and SMSF requirements.
Identify missing information, discrepancies, and unusual transactions and follow these up appropriately.
Work closely with the broader accounting team to ensure SMSF files are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain organised documentation to support the preparation and review process.
Manage multiple SMSF files and competing deadlines effectively.

Practical, hands-on experience in Australian SMSF accounting.
Strong experience preparing SMSFs using Class.
Experience working with Cloud Offis workpapers.
Good understanding of Australian SMSF accounting processes and requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to review financial information, identify discrepancies, and resolve or appropriately escalate issues.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with an Australian and/or offshore accounting team.
Nice to Have
Experience working with an Australian accounting or professional-services firm.
Experience preparing SMSF financial statements and associated workpapers.
Familiarity with Australian accounting practices and workflows.
Experience supporting multiple SMSF files in a deadline-driven environment.
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary Australian professional-services group and build specialised experience in Australian SMSF accounting. You'll work directly with industry-specific systems such as Class and Cloud Offis, giving you meaningful responsibility for SMSF files while working closely with a broader accounting team.
