The Role

As Finance Manager, you'll own the day-to-day rhythm of the finance department — supervising a team across AP, billing, AR, and tax, while keeping cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk firmly under control. You'll report directly to the Director of Finance, acting as the steady hand that keeps operations accurate and on schedule. Success in the first 6–12 months looks like a finance team that runs smoothly under your supervision, clean and timely billing and collections, and cash forecasts the business can actually rely on.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and coordinate finance staff across accounts payable, billing & accounts receivable, and tax — managing attendance, workload, goal-setting, and performance

• Oversee treasury operations, including bank account administration, cash flow forecasting, debt management, and banking relationships

• Monitor daily cash balances and execute cash management activities — disbursements, wire transfers, and reconciliations

• Develop short- and long-term cash forecasts and budgets in collaboration with the finance team

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks (interest rate, currency, credit) and implement risk management strategies where needed

• Process and review client invoices — including special cases like wash-up billing — ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and drive collections, escalating problematic accounts to Account Management as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including team leadership

• Strong grasp of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis

• Proficiency in financial/ERP systems (e.g., Xero) and advanced Excel skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Nice to Have

• CPA or equivalent certification

• Experience with hedging, derivatives, or other risk-management tools
